2. I'm working on getting back into blogging again after a too long unintended hiatus. I will be posting here shortly but my initial focus will be The Procrastinate Reader (aka TPR: A Different Kind of Book Blog). Especially on TPR I have a lot of things coming up including 3 reviews, 2 event recaps, author interviews, and much more! It's going to be a very busy November provided I can get my act together and find a way to focus on more things than just awesome TV (I plan to post about some of my new faves here on Rockin' Randomness) and bookish Twitter. So here on Rockin' Randomness I will be posting about TV, misadventures with friends, ranting about switching my phone plan (oh the joy that went on), and maybe even a few guest posts and links to guest posts on other's blogs! But more on all that later...

The truth is in the journey...

I thought I'd kick off my first entry back from oblivion with some questions for you guys. What are some of your fondest holiday memories? Do you have any traditions that you do every year? What are they? What is your favorite thing to do this time of year? What is your absolute favorite thing(s) about the holiday season, thanksgiving, winter, etc.

It's been a long journey to come back to my beloved blogs. I've missed all you guys so much! I've been so busy! I'm quickly running out of my unemployment benefits and still have no job :( Been job searching and applying to a virtual ton of places. Hopefully I'll get something soon! Also been taking time to finally go through most of the emails in my main account. Hope all is well with everyone. Here's to posting as regularly as I can!

Laptop Issues Continue

I'm stressed...my laptop worked ok yday not working 2day. Looked online; based on my problems i need new motherboard & ac adapter/power supply cord. DEBATING ON BUYING A NEW LAPTOP INSTEAD (been planning to anyway.. just around black friday/christmas time)... I will still try to blog daily but it's far easier w. my laptop. I share the pc so that makes it more difficult to do what i want when I want.

just bought on ebay motherboard and new adapter for under $80... far cheaper than a new laptop..easier on the wallet when one is unemployed. Got them on ebay and from the same seller which is great cos it means I save on shipping and they will arrive at the same time! :) Should arrive in a couple of days and I can't wait. PC is driving me nuts haha. I miss using firefox. Dad did install google toolbar for me which makes things easier and me more productive, but still I miss my laptop. Michael (my older brother who worked with computers) said he'll install my motherboard for me the day we get it! Yey! XD Hopefully that will help with my camera/ picture uploading issues too. Also ordered a USB card reader so that oughta help for sure! I wanna get the pictures up for the cookie recipe! haha

Known Issues/ Status Update

I've had some computer/phone issues lately so all week I have been trying my best 2 play catch up on all my blogs posting 1 entry 4 each day I have missed. I've gotten Randomness Rocks! back up to date with the exception of one entry "I've Got Cookies." I'm waiting on the sync cable I order to arrive so I can upload my cookie photos to my computer and the entry. Assorted Randomness will be fully updated by tonight. I hope to begin updating I <3 Randomness tonight too starting with Day 12 of "21 Things Hiring Managers Wish You Knew." My newest blog Proud 2 B Random was updated (the 11-part series "11 Crazy Diet Fads" was finished and a new 3-part series "Oat Meals: 1 Ingredient, 3 Recipes" was added) but I didn't have time to post an entry yesterday so that too will be fully up to date by this evening.
