It's Story Time (Revisted)

Let's continue the story from a previous post. Here is my original post along with the replies and who they are by.


Instructions: write 1-2 sentences to continue the story. Leave off mid-sentence. Take it anywhere you want. If u cant think of anything grab a book & write something u read or just write whatever pops into your head.

It was a dark and stormy night and Dauna was all alone in her brand new house. Not a creature was stirring not even a mouse. Then all of a sudden out of nowhere she hears...

(Tamstarqueen said...) The loud roar of a bear. She went to her window to see what it was all about, the bear was crouched over looking all hairy and stout...

(Jessica said...) But she lived in a desert, all sandy and hot. She knew that this bear must have traveled a lot!

(Rockin Rita said...) So she waited till it fell asleep to go out and hunt down some food figuring the bear must be hungry. She found some bushes and gathered some berries and cactus juice and brought it home and made a nice...

(Dauna said...) smoothie that ended up coating the kitchen from floor to ceiling. With mop in hand, dauna tried to figure out what else the bear might like, when...

  1. it came to her. This wasn't just any old bear it was a cross between Yogi Bear and Winnie the Pooh. Maybe it would like a picnic of honey sandwiches. So after she finally finsihed cleaning, she set everything up in the living room and went to wake the bear. She went to the bedroom where the not-so-ordinary bear was sleeping but...

  2. ...was under her covers snoring strongly! So strongly was he snoring that the sand outside was brought inside by his powerful breath. "Just great!" Dauna thought "Not only is the bear getting his fur in my bed but he's getting sand in it as well. Looks like I'll have to clean up THIS room too!"

    But she simply paused and thought: "Sandwich."

    Now laughing at the joke she just made, Dauna laughed so hard that...
